Seminar series Open Innovation Working Lab
“Entrepreneurial opportunities and social innovation in the South of Italy”
February-May 2021
Kore University of Enna – Faculty of Economics and Law, in collaboration with the Center for Business in Society – IESE Business School of Barcellona, organizes a series of four seminars for the academic year 2020/2021 entitled “Entrepreneurial opportunities and social innovation in the South of Italy”.
Each seminar will host international academics and outstanding entrepreneurs which are located in the South of Italy. The seminars aim to make students aware of the opportunities provided by the entrepreneurial career in Sicily and in the South of Italy, with a specific focus on social innovative entrepreneurship.
This seminar series aims to provide alternative and critical conceptual tools to identify opportunities driven by situational changes (e.g. tourism), new technologies (e.g. internet-driven technologies), social trend (e.g. growing sensibility to the quality of natural goods and the related certifications), etc.
The scientific directors of the seminars are Prof. Guglielmo Faldetta (Kore University of Enna) and Prof. Antonino Vaccaro (IESE Business School).
The meetings will be held online and in Italian. Registration and participation procedures will be announced shortly.
